Transparency

A college education is no small investment. Students and families should have access to a wide swath of data to help them make informed decisions about where to enroll, what options are available to help defray the costs, and whether the return on investment for the intended degree is worth the cost. More transparent data will also be helpful to lawmakers as they develop legislation and to those in the higher education community as they advocate for better policies. The Higher Education Committee of 50 will discuss how to make information on costs, financial aid, and student outcomes more transparent, relevant, accurate, and useful.
